FISHSTICKS? YUCK!

No, not that kind of fishsticks.

The FishSticks I’m talking about is a bouncing bundle of code written in Ruby, originally given to me in the form of Shigbot by Cyno. He asked me to help improve his IRC bot ShigBot by writing more plugins, and when I had a look at the source code, got the bot online and had a play, I started to personalise it.

That’s when FishSticks was born; October 23rd. I got carried away, concentrated on responses and fixed some plugin clashes, and she’s now a cute, interactive IRC lurker bot. She sits around and responds to certain cues written in her code.

I look forward to the day when I can laugh at some idiot trying to pick my bot up in an IRC channel.
